Back in Houston. Sunny and 70 degrees.
Garden in fairly good condition. Grass nice and trim thanks to our paid Mexican gardeners.
Seems to be lacking a little of water but with a frost the other day I'm assured is the reason many of the bushes lost their leaves. The Hybiscus in the screened porch always looks a little sad when I'm away.
Saturday was once again a tennis day. Timothy had two Zats matches. He did not win but played some good games in both Matches. We were also the last off the courts finishing at 8.30pm under spotlights.
Game followed by a Sonic Burger, or was that a salad with meat on the side, whilst father and son caught up on things.
Sunday looks like a trip to Washington on the Brazos.
Washington-on-the-Brazos — Texas Independence Day Celebration — The web site says the following
"The 170th anniversary of the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence visitors will be immersed in Texas history with costumed re-enactors, period craft demonstrators, toe tappin' Texas musical performances and black powder gun salutes by the Texas Army. Featured will be an unprecedented exhibit, "Let the Convention Go On " which includes the most significant documents created during the Convention of 1836 held at Washington-on-the-Brazos such as the original handwritten Texas Declaration of Independence"
