Leaving Houston behind and off the the UK for a week

Left foggy Houston behind on the 11th

Arriving to a sunny Spring in the UK on the 12th. The flowers in Helens garden looked great.
We were upgraded on the flight over to World traveller plus. A little less crowded and more space around the seats.

Magnolia trees everywhere were just coming out in bloom

Helens Birthday on the Monday, here with Nutmeg.

To Celebrate the birthday we went to a Thai restaurant in Epsom and consumed both before during and once back at Helen and Micks several bottles of red wine. Two of the wines were bottles in 2546 and 2547.
I love all this time astral and time travel stuff... :-)
(In fact the year counted from the birth of Buddah)

Tuesday and Tim and I went up to London. We headed first to the London Eye. Neither of us had been up it before, usually because of long lines but this morning there were no lines and we got straight on. Beautiful day.

The views were specatular. Couldn't help thinking about the books I have been reading, about the Blitz and the Battle of Britain.Imagining the German bombers flying up the Thames dropping their bombs.

We spend most of the afternoon there leavig at dusk. We headed out to get some Sushi at Yo Sushi at Timothys request. Conveyer belt Sushi as well as some special orders we asked for.

In the distance Buckingham Palace and St James Park.
How different the skyline must be today than when it was before the war and how much that influenced its changing. Whole areas flattened.
Fascinating place to visit some great exhibits and how it brings things to life seeing the real artifacts.
They also had a special exibit on animals at war. we went into the WW I Trench Experience and then the WW II Blitz and airraid shlter experience. It was also interesting to see the mock up house from the 1940's How different everything was to what we all haev now. Our gadgets and electrical equipment.

Was all great and fresh food.
Walked around across Westminster bridge and saw the 'red nose eye ( if that makes any sense).
