Friday and I was itching get outside and take more photos. I love the outside and am hooked on using the camera.
Been glued to the computer and phone inside most of the day.
More Sunny days and the temperatures unseasonable warm again.
A cold front is already starting to head our way.
Sat on the porch this evening around 11.00pm, after walking Macie. I suggested a drink and a sit down there to Hazel. Herbal tea arrived before I could action my original thought which was for a Drambuie or G&T.
I guess the tea was much better for me so until she reads this She will not realise I was suggesting alchohol.
Anyway, the temperatures started to drop and the breeze increased a few flashes of summer type lightning but little if any cloud around.
The moon had been clear in the sky even as the sun was setting earlier this evening.
Its going to cool off to the mid 70's tomorrow. They said it could get into the 50's. Wow may have to get the winter coats out again.
I took some photos of the flowers in the gdn.
Whever I step out that back door into the garden with the camera, I'm convinced the wind just starts up. Trying to take photo of flowers whilst they sway around is a most frustrating exercise.
Here was my attempt.

After taking Tim to tennis, around 5.30pm, rather than going to the 'YMCA' to work out and swim inside before picking him up some 2 hours later.
I found a little park area near the house, that I had driven past plenty of times but never stopped at before.
I went for a wander around.
It was a little humid especially walking in the countryside alongside the creek. Thankfully the Mosquitos were not yet seasonally awake as where I was walking would have been Mosquito heaven.

I popped back home grabbed my camera an captured some of what I saw as the sun began to drop behind the trees.
The sun was setting and unfortunately the majic of the sun on the water and the trees was not at its best and when the sun goes down the dynamic greens and browns begin to take on a greyer hue.
Either way the water is always a muddy browny grey colour. I remember talking to someone years ago who said it was not until they left Houston did they realize water could be green or blue.
The silt in Texas makes the rivers, creeks and the sea look so dirty.
Anyway the park was a pleasant find and it was much more enjoyable walking around outside than in a crowded gym.

I will re visit this place again.

I was concious of Pioson Ivy and wonder if we get Poison Oak in Texas. Not recalling what either looks lilke I was hopeful there was none, yet paranoid that everything I saw was it.

I will have to research that. No stroll in the countryside here is as relaxing as in the UK. At some point something's going to bite you scratch you rub onto you or suck your blood.
