Sunday and I lost an hour... If anyone finds it I could use it, and a plumber...

There are well over 20 clocks and watches in the house that needed the time moved forward, except the bathroom clock which was an hour fast all winter. (mental note to take calculator out of the bathroom not needed in summer).

I did change all the significant clocks, the chiming wall clock and thanks to modern technology the Atomic clock changed on time before I went to bed around 2.00am or was that 3.00am ?, or was it 1.00am?
Well it was 5.30 on the clock upstairs (battery dead) and 11.30 on the clock on the mantle piece that has not been wound for several months.

Cell phone had to be turned off and on to register the time change. So much for relying on that wake up alarm.
Whatever time it was it was that I went to bed, it was an up early morninng.
I think I managed 5 hours sleep.

Anyway where did lazy Sunday mornings go. I was up by 7.00am....
Jon had to be at work at 8.30am and I couldn't get him up.
Micah had to leave to meet his Dad to go to Church, (he got up but, later than I thought he would).

Timothy had no need to get up and could have lay there all day but was up showered and dressed before everyone.

Hazel of course unfortunately still ill and on her second day in bed. (mental note go see if she needs anything...she has been MSN IM'ing me when she needs anything).
Oh also Timothy has been going round with a tissue over his face so as not to get any germs and Joanthan went around and disinfected all the door handles. (used up 35 clorox wipes doing so also).

I made egg bacon toast first thing, but forgot my cup of tea. Micah enjoyed breakfast but my kids 'didnt do breakfast' today. I however did eat and enjoyed very much. (mental note get cholesterol re tested).
Tim ate 2 eggs, toast bacon and 2 saussage pattys with an Orange drink later on before Tennis.

So anyway the clocks went forward, now we are back in line with 6 hours difference between UK and US, and that should make the meetings this week between UK and US easier to get right.

The day seems to have rushed past and now its supper time.
It was a very busy morning then Tennis in the afternoon and then just hanging I believe is the appropriate term to use.

The afternoon and ....
Hazel still recovering in bed.
Tim watching TV
Jon returned from and then went back to work ,and then on his final return played drums to help us all relax...(Great headache reliever. The principle being that when he stops drumming, you are just so relieved that nothing else matters, and nothing seems so bad any more.)
(Just kidding Joanthan, we love your drumming).

The day here is beautiful and hot in the mid 80F 's. (and the back garden tranquil).

The day comes and goes but some things just don't go away and that frog just has that knowing smile that life is good and all is well with him swinging back and forth on his little perch.

However, there is an unpleasant reality that still needs to be dealt with in the house.

Despite the beauty of the day outside there has been one thing bugging me since early am when someone must have deposited something permanant in the bowl in the little room.

It is now getting close to evening and despite various attempts throughout the day, I'm still stumped at how to unblock this beyond the 'U-bend' problem.

I was hoping it would just go away. Sometimes that happens the water level goes down and all is well, but I guess some things are destined to become ever present challenges.

I think some more serious plumbing solution is needed.
The plunger is not doing any good at all...

Isn't this called a Bottle Brush Bush?.

Do they grow Bog Brush Bushes ?

Maybe some 'Lupins, (pronounced Loopins, there must be a reason for that).

What ever works thers is something close to very 'Narcissus' down there and it aint comin' up Roses..
